Terms and Conditions
Unless otherwise specified in our catalogue(s) or agreed to in writing the following terms and conditions of sale will apply.
General Conditions
Product sold remains the property of McDermid Paper Converters Limited until such time as the applicable invoice(s) is/are paid for in full. In the event of non-payment McDermid Paper Converters Limited reserve the right(s) to repossess all applicable and effected product(s). All products sold by McDermid Paper Converters Limited are 100 % guaranteed. Should any product supplied by the company be found to be defective in any way the product in question will be replaced or credit issued upon final inspection by McDermid Paper Converter Limited. Defective products must be reported within 30 days of receipt of the goods.
Pricing
All pricing is in accordance with prices published in our current dealer catalogue(s) unless advised and agreed to in writing. Prices are subject to changes without notice except for contractual agreements which will be adjusted on their review date. Every effort will be made to provide reasonable notification of price increases or decreases as market conditions allow.
Custom Packaging
Master cartons and roll end caps labelling are subject to a handling surcharge that will be identified at the quotation stage by Customer Service. For the purchase of full skid items please contact Customer Service.
Custom Products
Minimum order quantities, dollar value, and product specifications to be approved by customer prior to production. All printed products are also subject to a proof approval by the customer prior to production. No return of custom products are permitted unless approved in writing by McDermid Paper Converters Limited.
Free Delivery
Orders having a net value of $1,500.00 or more excluding shipping and taxes are entitled to Free Delivery to any major shipping centres in Canada as recognized by McDermid Paper Converters Limited. This is based on ground service only. Orders for shipment within the city of Montreal and Greater Toronto Area (GTA) having a net invoiced value of $500.00 or more excluding shipping and taxes will qualify for Free Delivery based on ground or standard overnight service only.
Pick Up Orders (Cash & Carry)
A discount of 15% on the published dealer prices will apply for any stock order having a net invoiced value of $50.00 or more excluding shipping and taxes.
Orders must be placed through McDermid Customer Service to qualify for these discounts.
Returns
No product is to be returned, exchanged, or replaced without a “Return Authorization Number” from Customer Service at McDermid Paper Converters Limited. Stock returned and determined to have no deficiency upon inspection may be subject up to a 20% restocking charge subject to the discretion of Customer Service at McDermid Paper Converters Limited. Only full cartons will be accepted and returns must be made within 90 days of the invoiced date.
Damage In Transit
It is the responsibility of the customer to inspect goods on their arrival. Any shortage or damage should be noted on the waybill and reported immediately to the carrier and McDermid Paper Converters Limited. Damage or loss is the responsibility of the carrier and the applicable claim will be made by McDermid Paper Converters Limited on behalf of the client.
Taxes
All purchases will be subject to 13% H.S.T. unless otherwise regulated by the government.
